Kudos to the Blue Jackets for their great Bubble Hockey tees by Columbus-based Homage.
In normal times, it’s fun to see jocks filing out of the team bus in their travel-rumpled suits, the veterans expertly tailored, the rookies looking like high-schoolers at a funeral in the first dress clothes they’ve ever owned. But hockey in the quarantine hubs has an Olympic Village vibe that calls for a more casual dress code. The Blue Jackets nailed it.
The shirts were a custom print job for the team, but they’ve gotten so much love from fans, “Homage hinted that they may become available on their site soon,” according to NHL.com.
